<p>literally peregrine falcon in Japanese.  This bike took the motorcycle industry by storm,  It was they fastest production bike ever made.  I remember cover of a magazine saying 189 mph. I remember one of these bikes passing me on the highway like I was standing still.  His tail light disappeared into the distance in what seemed to be a matter of seconds.  He had to be doing over 160 miles per hour. Think about it&#8230; at 180 miles per hour, that&#8217;s a mile every 20 seconds&#8230;</p>

<p>Every 18 year old kid who had never ridden a bike wanted one and many got one.  I personally did not like the bike at first.  It looked too big and bulky, but I was into the nimbler sport bikes.  The Hayabusa isn&#8217;t really a sport bike, It&#8217;s really a rocket on two wheels, made to go fast on the straight away.  These motorcycles are bought, turned into drag bikes, pimped out.  They even take the engine out of these things and put them into go carts and cars.</p>
